Sadly, there’s no GPS system ala Saints Row, but the on-screen directional arrows do a decent job at getting you from place to place. Missions are all accessed from the map screen, and bring up target locations which you need to drive over to (yes, car jacking is included). Respect (which seems to be the buzz word in urban free-roaming action games these days) is earned through successful missions and by looking the part, with new rides and other items available to purchase. As you complete mission after mission, your respect grows and your hold over the city becomes stronger and stronger. Starting from the bottom up, you need to get your nose into some small time deals and slowly but surely take over territory now controlled by gangs. He’s left homeless and penniless though, and your task in the game is to return Tony to his former glory, taking Miami back and becoming the No.1 drug lord.
SCARFACE THE WORLD IS YOURS REVIEW MOVIE
In a move that will likely anger die-hard Scarface fans, the end of the movie has been rewritten, and Tony Montana now survives the violent attack at his mansion. If you haven’t seen the movie and don’t want it to be spoilt, don’t buy the game yet, and skip the rest of this paragraph. Despite some less than positive reviews, the game went on to sell in excess of 2 million copies worldwide, and is now available on the Wii. That’s what Vivendi and Radical Entertainment thought when they released Scarface: The World is Yours back in October 2006. But fans of GTA - or even the absurd, comedic violence of Quentin Tarantino - will want to say hello to this not-so-leetle game.Take the basic gameplay mechanics behind GTA, combine it with a hugely popular movie licence that allows for mature content on the more extreme end of the scale, and you surely have a recipe for success. Purists may be pissed that someone has meddled with the movie's classic finale. And a "Mix Tape" feature lets you create an in-game playlist from a massive music selection of '80s-era artists, the original movie score/soundtrack, and today's hottest acts. The game was mixed at Skywalker Ranch, so every gunshot, explosion, and F-bomb is up to fully immersive, Hollywood standards. And Tony looks and sounds exactly as he should, thanks to Al Pacino (who lends his likeness) and a handpicked-by-Pacino voice actor (who perfectly captures Tony's explosive personality). (I kid you not!) Miami's crime-filled streets, seedy back alleys, and steamy nightclubs circa the early 1980s serve as your backdrop and are decently detailed for a game of this kind, looking their best on Xbox in 720p. Manage some risky manuevers, and you'll be rewarded with bigger balls. You'll reclaim Tony's place as kingpin of the underworld through savvy negotiations, ruthless intimidation, and blood 'n' bullets.

Like the Scarface-inspired Grand Theft Auto series, World is an ultraviolent, open-ended, third-person actioner. In The World Is Yours, that's when gameplay kicks in, giving you a chance to save Tony from the lethal blow that sent him over the railing and into the shallow pool below. Atop a staircase, armed only with his "leetle friend," the cocaine-fueled crime lord manages to mow down most of his attackers, despite being riddled with bullets himself.

Remember the end of the movie Scarface? In a state of rage, Tony Montana stands defiant against an army of hit men who have invaded his mansion.
